INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dance Body Project (DBP) welcome interested individual to take part in voluntary and\/or internship here. With aims to bridge the body, the dance and the community, DBP initiate various non-profit oriented projects relating to dance, including but not limited to the areas listed below:-<\/p>\n

i) dance performance-based research \/ research-based performance
\nii) dance talk \/ discussion
\niii) dance field practice
\niv) dance documentation<\/p>\n

DBP is dedicated to promoting education through performing arts, and encouraging creative and\/or explorational cross-disciplinary dance endeavours. Internship in DBP not only involve administrative experience, but also event organisation, production management, networking, research, archive and so on. Customised work plan and schedule in DBP enables flexibility in intern\u2019s work skills learning, whereas guided supervision can also facilitate intern in developing related hands-on experience for future career.<\/p>\n

Intern at Dance Body Project allows you to try out various roles and understand your own potential or interest. We are looking forward to providing knowledge sharing or training opportunity that motivate the growth in both of us as well as the dance society.<\/em><\/p>\n

Not only will you be able to contribute to the performing arts industry but you get to connect with many other arts lovers and practitioners across several boarders!<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n


\nKEY INFORMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. This is a non-paid position that requires your full commitment throughout your internship period.<\/li>\n
  2. No prior experience required however you are expected to be open-minded, proactive, positive and willing to learn.<\/li>\n
  3. Physical attendance is essential, unless otherwise mutually agreed.<\/li>\n
  4. Must be fluent in English (and Mandarin) speaking and writing.<\/li>\n
  5. Able to handle documenting equipment, manage database; possess computer skills and social media skills.<\/li>\n
  6. Able to travel and work at various locations for different tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
