What is dance, really?

For me, dance is a communication. To deliver ideological message of choreographer and physical message of dancer, which both parties need to negotiate how things can work out.

最近一直在作思考，到底我们马来西亚该以怎么样的一种形式去发展适合我们、属于我们的华族舞蹈体系。我不敢作前卫的设定，因为这其中牵涉了很多团体、很多前辈，他们在开辟的一路上作出了很多很多各方面的贡献，我没有资格抹杀他们的努力，更没有权力设限所谓的‘我们的’华族舞蹈。我只能以我微薄的知识，靠我个人的观察，作出一些设想，行则通，不行则罢。
