Tontonan sebuah Pra-tonton: Tarian Cina sempena FESENI Universiti Malaya 2020

Semenjak tahun 2015 sehingga ke tahun ini, saya adalah sangat bertuah kerana selalu dijemput menjadi pereka tatacahaya untuk beberapa pasukan yang menyertai pertandingan Tarian Cina sempena Festival Seni Universiti Malaya (FESENI). Satu pra-tonton lazimnya diadakan untuk memudahkan saya supaya tidak perlu menghadiri raptai penuh di kolej kediaman masing-masing.

探讨如何使用马来民间舞蹈元素进行当代舞蹈创作

当我在马来西亚博特拉大学(博大)业余式地学习马来传统舞蹈时,我已经深深地爱上了这门艺术。它那手势弧线流动式的卷曲、身躯柔软优雅的拧转、双人舞蹈相敬如宾的迎合和礼让、善用通用 舞蹈语汇而进行有限度的现场即兴等等 — 这些温和的舞蹈符号,都描绘了我的故乡 — 吉兰丹州生活的写照。当时的我还没开始正式接受现代舞的训练。自此以后,马来传统舞蹈元素渐渐地影响了我日后当代舞蹈的创作。
